Investigators have charged a 45-year-old man with 77 offences following investigations into property crime and vehicle thefts across Southeast Queensland.
It is alleged between 16 January to 1 March, the man committed a multitude of offences across Brisbane's south, Logan, Ipswich and Toowoomba policing districts.
Extensive investigations were carried out by Bayside Property Crime team with the assistance of the South Brisbane District Intelligence Unit.
On 6 March, with the assistance of specialist police, the man was located and arrested on Glendon Street in North Booval.
A blue Mitsubishi Pajero with alleged false plates was seized at the location. Investigators allege it was stolen from a Redland Bay Road address in Capalaba on 28 January.
On 7 March, investigators conducted a search warrant at a Kholo Road address in Kholo with the assistance of Ipswich Tactical Crime Squad and Goodna police.
It will be alleged the search resulted in the recovery of a stolen grey Mitsubishi Pajero, two box trailers, a blue Toyota Landcruiser utility, a Caterpillar excavator, and a shipping container filled with tools and vehicle parts.
It will be alleged the Mitsubishi was stolen from a Wondall Road address in Tingalpa on 28 July 2025.
Police will further allege excavator was stolen from a Bukulla Street address in Wacol on 21 June 2024.
The 45-year-old man was charged with 36 counts of stealing, 20 counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence, 15 counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, and one count each of attempted enter premises with intent to commit indictable offence, wilful damage, dangerous operation of a vehicle and evasion offence.
The matter first appeared before Ipswich Magistrates Court on 7 March where he was remanded in custody and is expected to appear before Toowoomba Magistrates Court on 13 April.
Investigations remain ongoing.
