Man charged with arson after house fire at Grange, South Australia

A man has been arrested after a fire at Grange yesterday.

It will be alleged that just before 2am on Saturday 5 January, police and fire crews were called to a fire at a home in Yorkshire Street, Grange

The occupant of the house managed to escape without injury.

The fire caused extensive damage to the house.

After further investigations, detectives from Western District Criminal Investigation Branch arrested a 29-year-old Grange man today (Sunday 6 January), and charged him with arson.

He was refused bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court tomorrow.
