Man charged with arson following South Coast car fire, SA

A man has been arrested following a suspicious car fire at Noarlunga Centre yesterday evening, according to SA Police.

Just after 5pm, Wednesday 19 July, police were called to Beach Road after reports that a car was on fire. MFS crews extinguished the blaze allegedly locating accelerants at the scene. There were no injuries reported.

Following an investigation Detectives from the South Coast CIB located and arrested a 22-year-old Noarlunga Centre man who has been charged with arson.

He was bailed to appear at the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 29 August.
