A man has been charged with domestic violence offences following an ongoing rural crime investigation.
In November 2024, officers attached to the Rural Crime Prevention Team established SF Brighton to investigate allegations of fraud and stock theft.
Following investigations, a 50-year-old man was charged with fraud and stock offences, which remain before the courts.
Following further investigation, about 12.15pm on 16 October 2025, the man was charged with stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), common assault (DV) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic)
He was refused police bail and appeared in Bail Division Court 5 on Friday 17 October 2025, where he was granted conditional bail.
Following legal advice, about 2pm yesterday (Thursday 19 February 2026), the man was charged with intend abusive behaviour coerce/control intimate pnr (DV).
His next appearance is in Wagga Wagga Local Court on Thursday 19 September 2026.
