A man has been charged with high range PCA in Sydney's west yesterday.
About 8:30am (Wednesday 25 June 2025), police were patrolling Flushcombe Road, Blacktown, when they observed a Toyota C-HRV allegedly travelling at 82km/h in a 40 km/h school zone.
Officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped the vehicle and conducted a roadside breath test allegedly returning a positive reading.
The 43-year-old driver was arrested and taken to Blacktown Police Station where he was subjected to a secondary test, allegedly returning a reading of 0.163.
The man's license was suspended, and he was issued an infringement notice in relation to his speed.
He was issued a court attendance notice for drive with high range PCA, to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Thursday, 17 July 2025,
