A man has been charged with numerous property offences in the state's west.
About 2.30pm today (Wednesday 10 September 2025), officers from Orana Mid Western Police District were conducting patrols of Church Street, Dubbo.
During the patrol officers sighted a 40-year-old man - who was wanted on outstanding warrants for stealing and trespassing offences – and placed him under arrest.
At the time of his arrest, the man was allegedly in possession of a number of powers tools.
The man was taken to Dubbo Police Station.
Following investigations in relation to the power tools, officers attended a construction site on Church Street, Dubbo.
Police will allege that about 12.25am today (Wednesday 10 September 2025), the 40-year-old man gained access to the construction site and allegedly stole the power tools.
Following further investigations, officers attended a business on Bultje Street, Dubbo.
Police will allege that on Wednesday 3 September 2025 and Tuesday 9 September 2025, the 40-year-old man gained access to the business and allegedly stole toiletry products and toilet paper.
The man was charged with larceny, enter enclosed lands not prescribed premises without lawful excuse and three incidents of break and enter house and steal value less than or equal to $60 000 and goods suspected stolen in/on premises.
He was also charged by virtue of two outstanding warrants.
The 40-year-old was refused bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 11 September 2025).
