Man Charged With Murder in Emu Plains Stabbing

A man has been charged after a man died following a stabbing in Sydney's west.

About 6.45pm (Thursday 2 April 2026), emergency services were called to Clouta Place, Emu Plains, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command arrived to find a 58-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his upper body.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, the man could not be revived.

A crime scene was established with detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident under Strike Force Hawklar.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Penrith Police Station where he was charged with murder (DV).

The man has been bail refused to appear at Bail Division Court 6 today (Friday 3 April 2026).
