A man has been charged with speeding and high range PCA in the state's south.
About 5:25pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 November 2025), police were patrolling south on Kyeamba Street, Ladysmith, about 19km east of Wagga Wagga, when they allegedly detected a car travelling 131 km/hr in a 50km/hr zone, during a storm.
Officers pulled over the 39-year-old driver and submitted him to a roadside breath test, where he allegedly returning a positive reading.
He was arrested and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis which returned a positive alcohol reading of 0.154.
Police will allege he was travelling with a 27-year-old female passenger and a 6-month-old girl in the backseat.
He was charged with drive with high range PCA, drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous and class A m/v exceed speed greater than 45 km/h. His license was suspended.
He was granted bail to appear in Wagga Wagga Local Court on Wednesday 14 January 2026.
