Police are investigating following a stabbing in Strathmerton overnight, Victoria Police say.
Police attended Williams Road following reports of a stabbing about 1.40am.
A man, who is yet to be formally identified, was located deceased at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
Homicide detectives are on scene.
