A man has died after he was struck by lightning in the state’s central west, NSW Police say.
Just after 2pm today (Saturday 20 October 2018), emergency services were called to a recreational ground on Comobella Road, Geurie, about 30km from Dubbo, after reports a 53-year-old man was struck by lightning.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and assessed the man, but he died at the scene.
Detectives from Orana Mid-West Police District will prepare a report for the Coroner.
