A man has died, following a bicycle crash on the weekend in the Southern Highlands.
About 9.45am on Saturday (8 November 2025), emergency services were called to Kangaloon Road, East Kangaloon about 4km northeast of Robertson, following reports of a bicycle crash.
Officers attached to The Hume Police District responded and were told two bikes who were riding in a group collided, resulting in both cyclists falling onto the roadway.
NSW Ambulance paramedics responded and treated a 54-year-old man for serious head injuries. He was transported via road to a field on Kangaloon Road and airlifted to Liverpool Hospital.
A second rider, a 51-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and a possible concussion. He was treated at the scene and taken to Wollongong Hospital.
About 10am today (Tuesday 11 November), officers attached to The Hume Police District were contacted by the hospital and notified the 54-year-old man had died.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
