Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Diamond Creek this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Main Hurstbridge Road, near Perversi Avenue, about 12.30pm.
Officers have been told a group of motorcycle riders were travelling north when it appears one of the riders travelled wide and collided with another motorcycle rider travelling in the opposite direction.
Sadly, one of the male riders died at the scene.
The other motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
