Man dies after Edithvale collision

A driver has died following a crash in Edithvale last month.

It's believed the 90-year-old Aspendale man was travelling east along Langrigg Avenue on Wednesday 26 August when he crashed into a parked car about 6.30pm.

The impact of the collision caused the parked car to be pushed into a second parked car.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene, but he sadly died.

Police are investigating whether a medical condition contributed to the crash and will prepare a report for the coroner.
