Man dies after falling from moving car in Campbellfield

A man has died in hospital following a fall from a moving car in Campbellfield on Sunday (10 March).

It is alleged the 20-year-old Campbellfield man was sitting on the tray cover of a white Commodore ute travelling on Cambridge Way before he fell about 6.00pm.

The man was conveyed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the ute, a 19-year-old Broadmeadows man was arrested and released pending enquiries.

The 20-year-old Campbellfield man died in hospital on Wednesday night (13 March).

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
