Homicide Squad detectives are investigating following a fatal assault in Morwell early this morning.
Emergency services were called to Buckley Street around 12.30am and located a man in the street with life-threatening injuries.
The 19-year-old Churchill man was conveyed to hospital, however he passed away.
No arrests have been made and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
