Man dies after motorcycle crash at Ulong

A man has died after a motorcycle crash in the state's Mid North Coast region.

About 5.30pm yesterday (Friday 26 August 2022), police were called to Timmsvale Road, Ulong, following reports of a crash.

On arrival, officers were told a motorbike travelling east lost control after colliding with a wallaby.

Witnesses administered CPR to the 56-year-old rider until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived to airlift him to hospital; however, he could not be revived and died at the scene.

Officers attached to Coffs-Clarence Police District have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
