Man dies after motorcycle crash - Hume

A man has died following a motorcycle crash in the state's south today.

About 1.15pm (Monday 16 January 2023), emergency services were called to the intersection of Sutton Road and Vaughan Drive, Sutton, following reports a motorcycle had left the road and hit a tree.

Witnesses performed CPR before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived, but despite efforts, the rider died at the scene.

The male rider is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged 57.

Officers attached to The Hume Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As inquiries continue, anyone who witnessed or has dashcam vision the incident is urged to call Goulburn Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
