Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a man at Lake Eildon this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the vicinity of Jerusalem Track about 2.30pm on 8 February after reports two men had entered the water and could no longer be seen.
The area was searched and one of the men was located and given CPR on the shore.
He has been taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The other man was located a short time later but could not be revived.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
