A man has died following a two-car collision at Clarkefield earlier this evening, Victoria Police say.
The incident occurred at the intersection of the Lancefield-Melbourne Road and Sutherlands Road just before 7.30pm.
A driver, travelling east on Sutherlands Road, collided with another vehicle travelling south on the Melbourne-Lancefield Road.
The driver travelling on the Melbourne-Lancefield Road died at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 4x4 tray utility, was conveyed to hospital with minor injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
