Man dies in crash - Borah Creek

A man has died in a single-vehicle crash in the state's north-west today.

About 1.10pm (Thursday 5 March 2020), emergency services were called after reports of a vehicle roll-over on Banoon Road, Borah Creek, 80 kilometres of north-west of Tamworth.

Police believe the vehicle rolled multiple times before crashing into a tree.

A 49-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car, died at the scene. The driver was not injured.

Officers from Oxley Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
