Man dies in motorcycle crash at Breadalbane

Sadly, a 38 year old Perth man has died in a single vehicle motorcycle crash on the Midland Highway at Breadalbane overnight.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene about 9.30pm, where the man died at the scene from his injuries.

Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.

A crash investigation is being conducted and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Tasmania Police remind motorists to take all due care on Tasmanian roads especially with regards to ‘The Fatal Five’, as we approach the holiday season.

Police are seeking any information from witnesses who may have seen two motorcycles travelling north on the Midland Highway between Longford and Breadalbane just prior to 9.30pm last night.
