Man dies in single car crash - Leppington

A man has died after a single car crash at Leppington this morning.

About 4am (Saturday 14 September 2019), police were called to the intersection of Heath and Eastwood roads, following reports of a car crash.

Upon arrival, police discovered a car had crashed into a pole.

The driver, a 30-year-old man and sole occupant of the Holden Astra, died at the scene. Both Heath Road and Eastwood Road remain closed and there are traffic diversions in place.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.
