Police are investigating after a man was found with head injuries in car park on the state’s Central Coast, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to the car park of a club on Lake Haven Drive, Wyong, just before 7.30am today, following reports a man had been located near his car with a head injury.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 60-year-old man at the scene before taking him to Wyong Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Initial inquiries suggest the man, who was asleep in his car, was approached and assaulted.
Police are urging anyone who may have any information to contact Wyong Police via Crime Stoppers.
