Man in court over sexual touching incident at Sydney Airport

A man is due to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Tuesday, 24 December) following an alleged indecent assault occurring outside Sydney International Airport.

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) were called to attend the roadside area outside the departures area of the International Terminal yesterday morning (Monday, 23 December).

Police allege two women had been standing near the roadside, when they were approached by the 23-year-old man. One of the women reported she felt a hand touch her leg under her skirt.

The women called for security, who reported the matter to Police.

The AFP arrived and arrested the man.

He was later taken to Mascot Police Station and charged with an indecent assault offence - one count of sexual touching without consent, contrary to section 61KC of the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW).

The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
