Man in critical condition after Kyabram collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are heading to the scene of a collision in Kyabram today which left a man with critical injuries.

It is believed a truck and utility collided at the intersection of Peppertree Lane and White Road just before 10am on Monday 6 July.

The driver of the ute, a 63-year-old Eaglehawk man, was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition.

His passenger, a 34-year-old Kangaroo Flat man, was also airlifted with serious injuries.

The sole occupant of the truck, a 41-year-old Kyabram man, was uninjured and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

The intersection remains closed and will be for some time while police process the scene.

Detectives are investigating the cause of the collision and urge anyone who witnessed it or with dash cam footage to come forward.
