Man in critical condition after stabbing at Ashfield

An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed at a park in Ashfield tonight.

Emergency services were called to Albert Parade Reserve about 7.25pm (Saturday 19 October 2019), and found a 26-year-old man with stab wounds to his leg and shoulder.

He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, where he's reported to be in a critical condition.

A crime scene has been established in the reserve and an investigation is now underway by officers from Burwood Police Area Command.
