Man Injured During Public Place Shooting - Lalor Park 8 March

A man has been injured after he was shot during a public place shooting in Sydney' west.

About 8.45pm (Sunday 8 March 2026), emergency services were called to a Northcott Road, Lalor Park, following reports of a public place shooting.

Officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command arrived and were told unknown people had fired multiple gunshots from a home hitting a man who was on the street.

The 29-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for a gunshot injury before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.

The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police have established a crime scene with Riverstone detectives investigating the incident.

There are several road closures in the area and the public is urged to avoid the area while inquiries are ongoing.
