Man injured in crash near Mallala, South Australia

A young driver has been airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious condition after his car rolled at Calomba near Mallala last night.

Just after 10.30pm Monday 22 March, a Commodore sedan travelling south-east on Calomba Road, left the road surface and rolled several times.

Ambulance crews attended the scene treating the driver, a 19-year-old man from the Adelaide Plains, who was then airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious head and chest injuries.

Two Wells and Mallala Police attended the crash site and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The damaged Commodore was towed from the scene.
