A man reported missing from Sydney's west has been located safe and well in the state's Hunter region.
The 87-year-old man was reported missing to officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command when he went missing from his home in Old Guildford on Saturday (12 September 2020).
Following inquiries, and a public appeal, a member of the public located the man in his car on Weakleys Drive, Beresfield, about 11pm yesterday (Sunday 13 September 2020), and stayed with him until police arrived.
He was taken to Maitland Hospital for observation, where he will be reunited with his family.
