Man pulled from water dies at Woolgoolga

A man who was pulled from the water at a beach on the state's North Coast today has died.

About 1.30pm today (Monday 20 June 2022), emergency services were called to Woolgoolga Beach, Woolgoolga, following reports that a man had been pulled from the water and was unresponsive.

Members of the public performed CPR until NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived, however the 63-year-old man could not be revived.

Officers attached to Coffs-Clarence Police District attended and have commenced inquiries into the incident.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
