Man seriously injured after home invasion at Seven Hills

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed during a reported home invasion in Sydney's west overnight.

Officers attached to Blacktown Police Area Command were called to a home on Federal Road, Seven Hills, just after 10pm (Sunday 31 July 2022), responding to reports several men had forced entry into the home.

On arrival, police located a 23-year-old man with stab wounds to his arm and leg areas.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Police have been told three men forced entry into the home and threatened the male occupant before he was stabbed.

A crime scene was established, which was forensically examined by specialist police and an investigation has commenced into the circumstance surrounding the incident.
