Man shot at Elizabeth Vale

A man has been shot following a break-in at Elizabeth Vale.

Just after 7am, Saturday 21 January, patrols were called to Willow Crescent, after reports three men had forced their way into a house, threatened the occupant and demanded cash before shooting him in the leg and leaving with an amount of cash.

The victim, a 59-year-old from Elizabeth Vale, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

While a link between the victim and the suspects is undetermined at this time, it is believed to be a targeted incident.
