Man shot at Kurralta Park

Police are investigating a shooting overnight at Kurralta Park.

Just after 2.30am, Sunday 22 January, patrols were called to a unit complex on Warwick Avenue, after reports of a man having been shot. On arrival, police located the victim standing on a balcony with a single gunshot wound to his abdomen.

The 19-year-old from Kurralta Park, was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with a non-life threatening injury. Investigations are continuing and police are hoping to speak further to the victim later today to establish how he sustained his injury.

The incident is not believed to be a random attack.
