Man wanted by Eastern Beaches Police arrested in Nepean area

A man wanted by police in Sydney's Eastern Beaches has been arrested in Sydney's west this afternoon.

Earlier today (Tuesday 30 June 2020), officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command appealed to the community to locate a 22-year-old man, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Following inquiries, officers from Nepean Police Area Command attended a home at Kingswood about 1.20pm and arrested the man after he jumped the back fence.

He was taken to Penrith Police Station, where the warrant was executed for the offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV), destroy or damage property and common assault (DV).

The man was also charged with use carriage service to menace/harass/offend.

He has been refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 1 July 2020).
