Southern District Police are currently searching for a man after a woman was seriously assaulted at Christies Beach this morning.
Just before 8am on Monday 29 October, police and ambulance crews were called to house on Cocking Road, where they located a woman with multiple injuries. She was treated at the scene before being taken to the Flinders Medical Centre in a serious but stable condition.
The suspect man who is known to the victim is believed to have left the house on foot.
He is described as Caucasian, 33-years-old, 178cms with a slim build, light brown hair with a beard, wearing a dark clothing.
