Man wanted on arrest warrant at Batemans Bay

Police are appealing for public assistance after an arrest warrant was issued for a man believed to be on state's South Coast.

Police are looking for Cameron Joel Thompson, aged 28, after an arrest warrant was issued over alleged property offences, and escape custody.

Cameron Thompson is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm-155cm tall, with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes. He has a large tribal tattoo on his right shoulder, chest and arm, and was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants and a black t-shirt; he may be handcuffed.

He was last seen on High Street, towards Museum Place, Batemans Bay, about 12.30pm yesterday (Monday 28 February 2022).

Police are urging anyone with information about the man's whereabouts to call Batemans Bay Police on 4472 0099 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
