Manning Great Lakes police keen to reunite recovered stolen goods with owners, NSW

Police investigating property stolen during multiple break and enters over a six-month period have seized several items and are now working to reunite them with their owners, NSW Police say.

About 1.30pm on Wednesday 12 September 2018, officers from Manning Great Lakes Police District executed a search warrant in Karlowan Street, Forster.

Police seized items including:

• three kayaks

• outboard motors

• power tools

• tool bags and belts with hand tools

• deep-cycle marine batteries

• gardening equipment

• chainsaws, blowers, and lawn mowers

• a Honda pressure cleaner

• fishing tackle boxes

• two large portable coolers

• a petrol generator

• surfboards, stand-up paddle board, and wake board

• fishing rods and reels

• camping equipment, including a gazebo and camp stretchers.

The items are believed to have been stolen from the Mid North Coast area over the past six months.

To claim the property, contact Forster Police Station to discuss the matter with officers.

People wishing to claim property may be required to give a statement and may be required to provide receipts and details such as model numbers, or police report numbers, as proof of ownership.
