Murgon detectives have charged a 31-year-old man with manslaughter following an extensive investigation into the sudden death of an 11-year-old boy in November, 2021.
Operation Uniform Weft was established to investigate the boy's death on November 21 at a Murgon property.
Police will allege the 31-year-old Murgon man failed to seek medical attention after the boy reported being bitten by a snake.
The man and boy were known to each other.
The 31-year-old man is due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on December 6.
