Police have charged a man following investigations into injuries resulting in the death of a man on a worksite in Springfield Lakes earlier this year, Queensland Police say.
Just before 2pm on April 10, it will be alleged a man was struck in the head by earth moving equipment and suffered serious injuries.
The man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he died the following day.
Workplace Health and Safety launched an investigation into the incident which has resulted in officers from Ipswich CIB, yesterday charging a 24-year-old Yarrabilba man with one count of manslaughter.
He is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court today.
