The Margaret River region will take centre stage this November as the first ever Australian host for the prestigious The World's 50 Best Vineyards awards.

Taking place on Wednesday 19 November, the awards will celebrate outstanding vineyards around the world that combine exceptional wine, food and visitor experiences.

Secured by the Western Australian Government through Tourism WA, this illustrious awards night is a major opportunity to showcase Western Australia's remarkable culinary experiences to the world, and further cement WA's reputation as a premium destination for wine, food and nature-based tourism.

The awards will also be the first time vineyards are recognised under the esteemed '50 Best' global brand, creating an enormous international media platform for the South West.

The event will kick off a huge week in the region, with the return of the Pair'd Margaret River festival to follow from 20-23 November 2025.

Pair'd is a vibrant four-day event now in its second year, that showcases the South West's world-class wine, food and music, featuring exclusive experiences across iconic wineries and destinations, and collaborations with the region's top chefs, winemakers and sommeliers.

The inaugural Pair'd in 2024 was a smash hit with 30 curated, unique experiences attracting over 1,000 out-of-State and out-of-region visitors generating over $2 million for the South West region.

Together, The World's 50 Best Vineyards awards and Pair'd will offer an unparalleled opportunity to promote the Margaret River region and wider WA to a global audience by attracting industry leaders and media, as well as boost the local economy by attracting wine lovers from around the world.
