Masks available at stations

A statement from Queensland Rail Acting Head of South East Queensland Greg Suthers:

The safety of our customers and our staff is our absolute priority, and we are continuing to closely monitor developments regarding COVID-19.

In line with Queensland Health advice, wearing a face mask is mandatory when travelling on public transport.

Queensland Police Service are responsible for the enforcement of masks and Queensland Rail is continuing to strongly encourage customers to wear them.

To further support health requirements, from 18 July 2022, a limited supply of masks will be available at Southeast Queensland stations for customers who need them.

We urge customers to continue to follow Queensland Health's latest advice regarding good hygiene practices while on our network, practicing social distancing wherever possible, and staying home if unwell.
