Masseur charged with sexual touching - South Coast

A man has been charged over the alleged sexual touching of a woman on the state's South Coast.

Last month, officers from South Coast Police District commenced an investigation after reports a 46-year-old woman was sexually touched by a masseur at a massage business in Vincentia.

Following inquiries, a 54-year-old man was arrested at Nowra Police Station yesterday (Tuesday 11 May 2021).

The man was charged with sexually touch another person without consent.

Police will allege in court the incident took place at a massage business on Moona Creek Road on Saturday 17 April 2021.

He was granted conditional bail to appear in Nowra Local Court on Monday 21 June 2021.

Officers are working with the Department of Home Affairs regarding the man's visa status.

Investigations are continuing.
