Local tourism and hospitality operators are invited to take part in the Positive Impact Visitor Economy Masterclass, a highly practical and engaging free workshop led by sustainability consultant and business owner Nic Cooper from 7 Generations Tourism on Tuesday 22 July.
In this practical and inspiring masterclass, participants will:
Learn key concepts to build business resilience, attract conscious travellers, and deliver meaningful impact across operations, community, and environment.
Explore how to embed sustainability into daily business practices in ways that are realistic, affordable, and results driven.
Understand how sustainability supports long-term success by future-proofing operations, maintaining market access, and meeting the growing demand for responsible experiences.
Discover how to holistically integrate sustainability into all areas of business - covering environment and climate action, circular economy, social impact, and cultural respect.
Gain insight into the value of sustainability accreditation (with a focus on Ecotourism Australia) as a tool to validate progress and communicate a credible sustainability commitment.
Through the group activities, local and global case studies, and clear frameworks, attendees will gain practical tools they can apply immediately, and every participant will receive takeaway resources to support implementation beyond the event.
At the conclusion of the workshop, Nic will also lead a two- to three-hour Positive Impact Learning Tour, offering participants a chance to see sustainable practices in action, connect with local suppliers and changemakers, and deepen their understanding through real-world examples and conversation.
As a bonus, ten participants will receive a one-on-one business mentoring and consultation session with Nic Cooper, valued at $1,650 each.
This event is open to all tourism and hospitality businesses, as well as other local business owners interested in sustainability and innovation.
Spaces are limited, and early registration is encouraged via this link: Positive Impact Visitor Economy Masterclass
