To celebrate World Nutella Day 2025 Mayor Cass Coleman welcomed Corporate Affairs Manager for Ferrero Australia Derek Lath and the General Manger of the Lithgow Factory Chris Hinton at the Council chambers to mark the occasion and recognise the importance of the factory to our community and the local economy.
Did you know the Lithgow Ferrero Factory produces all the Nutella you will find on shelves in Australia and New Zealand?
The Mayor also recognised the sustainability efforts of Ferrero who were the 2025 winner of the NSW Primary Industries and Regional Development Award in the Banksia Foundation's 2025 NSW Sustainability Awards.
