In partnership with the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF), the MDBA has established the Murray-Darling Basin Leadership Program (MDBLP). It brings leaders together across the Basin to expand networks and foster collaboration to support the Basin's long-term health and resilience.
MDBA Chief Executive Andrew McConville said the program will help participants build a deeper understanding of Basin water management and reform, strengthen their leadership and communication skills, and form lasting networks across communities and industries.
"The Basin faces complex social, environmental and economic challenges, and strong local leadership is essential to navigating them," Mr McConville said.
