Measles Case 3 February 2026

SA Health has been informed of a case of measles in an adult who acquired infection locally. This means there is undetected measles circulating in Adelaide. The adult visited the following South Australian locations while infectious and people in these settings at the specified times may have been exposed. These locations do not pose an ongoing risk.

  • 10:11 am Adelaide Metro Tram from Royal Adelaide Hospital to South Terrace, on 27 January
  • BHP, 10 Franklin Street Adelaide, on 27 January, 9:45 am to 5:30 pm
  • Rolls n Rice, 6/118 King William Street, Adelaide, on 27 January, 12:45 pm to 1:30 pm
  • 48 Flavours, 248 Unley Road, Hyde Park, on 27 January, 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • Unley Swimming Centre, Ethel St, Forestville, on 26 January, 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm
