GPs wanting to support their patients with managing their medicines may be interested in the MedicineWise app which is NPS MedicineWise's free health and medicines management app.
Key features of the app help consumers:
keep track of their medicines and remind them when their medicine doses and appointments are due
store their information such as their health conditions, allergies, measurements and test results
share their health information with their health professionals and people who are caring for them
access trusted, relevant and up-to-date information relating to their medicines and their health conditions
A new 'dose tracker' feature has been released supporting patients to manage complex medicine dosing.
