Melbourne Couple Wins Saturday Lotto Top Prize

A Box Hill couple has been swept into a whirlwind of fortune and excitement following their almost $2 million TattsLotto win. Their lives took an unexpected turn for the extraordinary after they discovered they held one of the six division one winning entries in the TattsLotto draw 4415, conducted on Saturday, November 11, 2023.

The couple's prize totaled a jaw-dropping $1,666,666.67. When contacted by lotto officials to confirm their win, the husband expressed his disbelief and gratitude:

“Wow! Thank you so much! It’s so surreal. We didn’t believe it. This phone call really makes it feel more real.”

He shared how his wife, a regular participant in TattsLotto, had asked him to check the results, leading to their astonishing discovery.

Despite their initial shock, the couple remained cautious about planning for their newfound wealth.

“We’ve talked about things we could do with the prize, but we wanted to make sure it was real first. I’m not one to count my chickens!” the husband remarked.

Their winning ticket was purchased at Doncaster Lotto, located at Shop 104 in Westfield Doncaster on Doncaster Road, a store with a history of selling winning entries.

The store owner, Edward To, expressed his elation at selling their 47th division one winning entry over the past 30 years:

“We couldn’t be more stoked... This marks our 47th division one winning entry since we first opened 30 years ago, and the winning feeling never gets old.”

The winning numbers for the draw were 2, 1, 30, 28, 24, and 23, with supplementary numbers 39 and 29. The draw saw a total of six division one winners across Australia, including three in Victoria, two in Western Australia, and one in New South Wales.
