Melbourne Player Unaware of $2.3M Lotto Windfall

A Melbourne lottery player has unknowingly become $2.3 million richer following the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw. However, the elusive winner  remains oblivious to their newfound fortune, as lotto officials have been unable to establish contact.

The lucky ticket, a marked 12-game entry, was bought at Hampton Authorised Newsagency, located at 345 Hampton Street, Hampton. Despite being registered to a player card, all attempts to reach the winner have been unsuccessful so far.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart says repeated attempts to phone the new multi-millionaire had failed.

“If you see a number of missed calls on your phone, you could be the winner we’re trying to contact,” he said.

“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased an entry into last weekend’s TattsLotto draw from Hampton Authorised Newsagency that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!

“We’re urging all TattsLotto players to check their entries as soon as possible.”

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4429 on 30 December 2023 were 39, 38, 3, 2, 11 and 23, while the supplementary numbers were 22 and 35.

Across Australia, there were 13 division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4429 – four each in New South Wales and Victoria, two in Western Australia and one each in Queensland, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
