Respected Mental Health organisation, Beautiful Minds, is holding a one-day workshop for pre-teen girls in Lennox Head on Sunday 27 June 2021.

The workshop has a strong focus on inner strength (resilience), strategies to navigate ever changing friendships, with tools designed by Stanford University to deal with inner bully chatter, feeling overwhelmed, mindfulness, creativity and much more.

Founder, educator and author, Marina Passalaris, will be running the June workshop, bringing with her a team of qualified educators that work with children across the country in over 935 schools.

"Young girls need a set of daily habits to ensure their mind fitness is something they learn to look after from a young age. At Beautiful Minds, we sit in the preventative space to set girls up for life. Our events are colourful, fun, dynamic and wrap learning around a beautiful day." said Beautiful Minds CEO, Marina Passalaris.

"We are so fortunate to have Beautiful Minds put Lennox Head on their national workshop tour. It will really benefit our local youth, providing education and support that can sometimes be difficult to find in regional areas. Their workshops sell out across the country, so we hope local families see the value these sessions bring." said Roberta O'Brien, Coordinator Community Facilities for Ballina Shire Council.
